The feederism glossary
Every important term in the feeder, feedee and gainer scene, explained plainly and without clichés. To look up, share and link. The lines are fluid, most people fit several terms at once, and that is completely fine.
The roles
- Feeder
- The person who loves to feed, spoil and watch. It's less about fattening someone up and more about making a person happy who wants exactly that.
- Feedee
- The person who enjoys being fed and spoiled, being full, letting go, and often growing bigger too.
- Gainer
- Gains weight by their own choice, often without a feeder. The focus is on their own progress and enjoyment.
- Encourager
- Cheers on and motivates but doesn't feed. Supports feedees and gainers on their journey.
- Stuffer
- Loves filling up and the feeling of fullness, but doesn't necessarily want to gain long term.
- Switch
- Sometimes feeder, sometimes feedee, depending on mood and person. The roles are fluid.
- Fat Admirer (FA)
- Someone drawn to fuller bodies, without necessarily wanting to feed anyone themselves.
Bodies and terms
- BBW
- Big Beautiful Woman, a full-figured woman. A positive term from the scene.
- SSBBW
- Super Size Big Beautiful Woman, the step up from BBW.
- BHM
- Big Handsome Man, a full-figured man.
- Curves
- Soft, round shapes. In this community not a flaw, but often exactly the point.
- Belly
- The belly, for many in the scene the central and cherished feature.
Practice and pleasure
- Stuffing
- Deliberately eating your fill and enjoying the fullness. Not necessarily with the aim of gaining.
- Mukbang
- Eating together, often on camera, at length. A pleasure and sometimes community ritual.
- Weight Gain (WG)
- Gaining itself, usually as a shared fantasy or joint project.
- Mutual Gaining
- Two people gain together, often as a couple.
- Feeding
- The act of feeding, by hand or by preparing and offering more than one would eat alone.
- Goal Weight
- A self-set target weight as a playful goal, never a compulsion.
Safety and respect
- Consent
- The basis of everything. Talk, set boundaries, check in with each other. Without consent, nothing.
- Boundaries
- What is okay for you and what isn't. They can change and are always respected.
- Verification
- Proof that a real person is behind a profile. It builds trust when getting to know someone.
