Becoming a feedee: an honest guide to the first weeks
How to start as a feedee without bending yourself out of shape, from self-image to looking after your body to your first real conversation with a feeder.
"Becoming a feedee" sounds like flipping a switch. In reality it's slowly growing into an identity a lot of us hid for a long time. Here's my guide for the first few weeks.
Step 1: be honest with yourself
Before you message anyone, ask: what exactly draws me in? The feeling of being full? The idea of gaining? Being seen? There's no wrong answer, but the clearer you are, the easier it is to find people who fit.
Step 2: a profile with courage, not a mask
On Crave, or any platform: real photos, honest text. Put your current weight if you dare, or leave it out, but don't lie. Lies always come out and they hurt both sides.
Step 3: start small
You don't have to want to gain 40 pounds right away. Many feedees start with "I just want to eat in a relaxed way, without the constant diet voice in my head". That's enough.
Step 4: look after your body
Drink plenty. Eat fiber. Take the stairs. Being a feedee doesn't mean throwing your health away, it means defining it on your own terms. If something hurts: pause.
Step 5: the first conversation
Don't write "hi". Write something personal: "hey, your profile photo at the dinner table, that spoke to me because...". Feeders get 50 empty hi-messages a day. You want to be the fifty-first.
What you don't have to do
- Don't send live photos to anyone you're not comfortable with.
- Don't start a push-gain program just because you met someone who likes that.
- Don't promise fixed numbers.
Last word
Being a feedee is allowed to feel good. If it turns into pressure, something's off. Go back to step 1.
