The feeder and feedee glossary: every term explained

Feeder, feedee, gainer, encourager, stuffer, mutual gaining, BHM, BBW and more. The key feederism terms, explained plainly.

When I first slid into the scene, I would have wanted exactly this kind of list. Not in a dictionary tone, but the way you'd explain it to a friend. Here are the key terms around feederism, no bullshit.

The roles

  • Feeder: The person who enjoys feeding, spoiling, and watching. It's less about "making someone fat" and more about making someone happy who wants exactly that.
  • Feedee: The person who enjoys that, being fed, spoiled, full, often also getting bigger. A whole world of pleasure and trust.
  • Gainer: Gains on their own initiative, often without a feeder. The focus is on their own progress.
  • Encourager: Cheers on and motivates, but doesn't feed directly. More in What is an encourager.
  • Stuffer: Loves eating until full and the feeling of fullness, but doesn't necessarily want to gain.
  • Switch: Sometimes feeder, sometimes feedee, depending on mood and person.

Around bodies and preferences

  • Mutual gaining: Two people gain together, often as a couple.
  • BHM: Big Handsome Man, a fuller man.
  • BBW: Big Beautiful Woman, a fuller woman. SSBBW is the step up from that.
  • Mukbang: Eating together (often on camera), a pleasure and sometimes community thing. See Mukbang for two.
  • Stuffing: Deliberately eating yourself really full. Tips in Stuffing for beginners.

The most important thing that's in no definition

Consent here isn't a buzzword, it's the foundation. Talking, holding boundaries, checking in with each other. Gaining is always a fantasy you share, never an order or pressure. If someone makes you feel you have to do something that isn't your pace: get out of there.

The terms are fluid, by the way. Most profiles fit two or three of them at once, and that's completely fine. If you want to place yourself or just see who fits you: look around on Crave.
